Year 4 Team

Mr Shipton
Year 4 Teacher
I am really excited to be joining the Trinity team as a newly qualified teacher, after previously working in education as a sports coach across Devon for the past 8 years. I am really passionate about sports, and enjoy spending weekends playing football for my local team. I thrive to create an environment which allows all children to express themselves and have fun, whilst simultaneously succeeding their potential.

Mrs Curran
Teaching Assistant
I work as a teaching assistant in Year 4 and also in Forest School. I have a bachelor's degree in theatre performance, an MA in Dickens and Victorian culture, a Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and have just undertaken training to be a forest school leader. I was born and raised in the western United States, I've lived in Taiwan, Germany and France and am happy to be raising my children here in beautiful Devon. I love languages, history, travelling, singing and the outdoors.

Mrs Chadwick
Teaching Assistant
I’ve been a teaching assistant for 17 years in Exeter schools, working with all year groups. I love building a relationship with children, forming a bond and trust with them. In my spare time I enjoy reading, eating out and spending time with my family.

Miss Harry
Year 4 Teacher
I graduated 2 years ago and have been working at Trinity for over a year now. In this time I’ve been focused on plugging the gaps from the pandemic and love seeing the progress children make and the impact I can have. I am a keen reader and love wool crafts and going to the beach.

Mrs Murray
Teaching Assistant
I am a kind, friendly and passionate teaching assistant with over 11 years experience. I enjoy working alongside the wonderful children and staff at Trinity and have a passion for supporting the children with all aspects of their learning/development and school life, helping to achieve the best of their ability.

Mrs Searle
HLTA - Forest Lead
I have had the pleasure of being a part of the Trinity school family from the beginning and as Forest school leader I was given the responsibility of creating the forest school area, from nothing, to what it is today. I have two amazing strong-minded children which together with my husband love to camp, surf, paddle board, skate and explore the outdoors.

Mr Blackmore
Teaching Assistant
I am Mr Blackmore and I work as a Teaching Assistant but also as a 1:1. I take real pride on being as positive as possible and try to spread a contagious positive attitude and hope it wears off onto the children. In my spare time I am a massive football enthusiast but also enjoy playing golf in my spare time. A lot of children also know me as Brandon as I do the after school football clubs Monday-Friday.
